Adventures with Brain Cancer

In September 2015 my husband, Michael, was diagnosed with brain cancer, the grade 4 aggressive version, glioblastoma. One of the ways I process life is to photograph, so I began this journey with him and my camera. Somehow, Michael is still here and living life fully.

Michael and I created a book, Don’t Postpone Joy: Adventures with Brain Cancer, about our experiences. My photography and Michael’s writing are paired as we reflect on love, fear, community, and beauty in the healing journey.
