My experience includes seven years as a book editor at a Minneapolis-based publisher and four years at nonprofit youth-serving organizations doing everything from volunteer recruitment, event planning, program management, communications, and public relations—and always producing newsletters, brochures, and other marketing materials.  

I started my own business in 2002, creating marketing and promotional materials for nonprofts and small businesses.

I also write nonfiction for children. Mighty Bison, was released in 2005. Five books on money for K-2 will be released in early 2010:
